Israeli designs and motifs can be proudly worn on your chest thanks to our special offer of Israeli T-shirts. One of the main motifs is the Star of David (מגן דוד, Magen David, literally 'Shield of David'), a six-pointed star and the best-known symbol of Judaism. Although its earliest use dates back to the 7th century BCE, its use as a symbol of Judaism is a relatively modern. It is mentioned neither by Tanakh nor Talmud and its name should refer to the shape of King David's shield. Since the 19th century it is generally accepted symbol of Judaism. It became the symbol of Zionist movement in 1897 and since 1948 it has been part of Israeli flag. This flag is another frequent motif that influenced Israeli design. It consists of a white background with two horizontal blue stripes, located at the upper and lower parts of the flag, and a blue Star of David. Blue and white are colours of Judaism and the flag itself symbolizes Tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl.

Some of our T-shirts contain a number 1948. This is a reference to 14 May 1948, when the modern State of Israel was established. It happened when David Ben-Gurion read out the Declaration of Independence in Tel Aviv, Rabbi Fishman recited Shehecheyanu blessing and the declaration was signed by members of the Provisional State Council. In the same year a public contest was held in order to choose Israeli coat of arms. It consists of blue background and menorah, a seven-branched candelabrum from Temple in Jerusalem and a symbol of Judaism. The menorah is surrounded by two olive branches, which symbolize peace. At the bottom is a Hebrew inscription 'Israel' (ישראל). The colour combination is blue and white or blue and gold.

A frequent motif of Israeli T-shirts is the Israeli army. Israel Defense Forces (IDF), known by Hebrew acronym Tzahal (צה"ל), is the Israeli army which was founded a few days after the establishment of Israel as a result of the transformation of three underground military organizations. The IDF fought in all the wars that Israel had faced and from all came out successfully. A specific feature of the Israeli army is compulsory military service for boys and girls and extraordinary social significance of the army. Besides the army, there is another frequent motif – Mossad (המוסד‎), the Israel intelligence agency. Mossad belongs alongside the CIA and MI6 to the best known and most feared intelligence agencies. It has a great number of achievements, which include the capture of Adolf Eichmann, organization of defection of the Egyption pilot with airplane MiG21F, revenge for the Münich massacre or organization of Jewish emigration from unstable countries.

Israeli design does not forget to the 'Internet generation' and thus we offer you the motif of Israeli country code top-level domain .il. It was registered on 24 October 1985 and it is the third oldest country code top-level domain in the world (the oldest are .us and .uk). There is also an exclusive Jewish motif which refers to an Orthodox Jewish citizens of Israel – payot, a sidelocks or sidecurls worn by some Orthodox Jewish men and boys. This custom is based on a verse from Leviticus and varies throughout Orthodox Jewish communities.

There is also an exclusive motif of Israeli T-shirts for the Czech environment – Czech-Israeli relations. Czechoslovakia had candid relations with Zionist representative since its establishment in 1918. Moreover Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia, visited Eretz Yisrael and several World Zionist Congress were held in Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia recognized Israeli independence five days after its declaration in 1948 and in the same year supported the newly created state in defiance to of an UN embargo by weapons supply and pilot's training. Bilateral relations began to deteriorate several months after the communist coup d'état due to dictation from Moscow. The diplomatic relations were cut off after the Six-Dax War in 1967 and re-established after the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia in 1990. Nowadays, the Czech Republic and Israel have extraordinary relations based on long tradition and friendship. The Czech Republic is considered a pro-Israeli country and supports Israel within the EU and international community.
